The SmartInterfaceX integration
module is developed to allow for integrators to seamlessly integrate the SAGEM MSO
300 USB device into existing third party systems. The component allows for the following
functionality:

Fingerprint enrolment using
the MSO 300 and MorphoKit
·
Retrieving of fingerprint
images
·
Retrieving of fingerprint
minutiae (template)
·
Verifying previously captured
fingerprint minutiae against a finger that is placed onto the SAGEM MSO 300
·
The component provides visual
feedback on the fingerprint capturing process
User training need to be
provided by the integrator to their client to ensure that enrolment is performed
according to standard.
Enrolment quality
is directly related to matching performance.
The component is an ActiveX
control.

1.1
Licensing
The module is licensed per
fingerprint capturing device (SAGEM MSO300) and is therefore bound to the device
serial number. Licenses will only be
issued for Ideco approved MSO 300 devices and to approved integrators.
1.2
Supported development tools
This module has been designed
and developed to be incorporated into any development language that supports ActiveX
controls.
1.3
Control Limitations
The following is a list of
control limitations:
a. The control requires a valid
license to operate
b.
The control only supports SAGEM
MSO300 USB fingerprint devices
c.
A MSO300 must be present on the platform used for integration
d.
A SAGEM enrolment dongle
is required for any workstation accessing enrolment functionality
e.
The ActiveX control need to be registered on the workstation
accessing the control
f.
The control will only function
on Microsoft Windows platforms
g.
The control have only been
tested on Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 & 7
h.
The web access security settings
need to be configured to allow for the use of ActiveX controls

The SAGEM MSO drivers need to
be installed separately, as supplied with the installation, for the control to work
correctly

to be installed separately, as supplied with the installation, for the control to
work correctly
